Ras Al Khaimah ( RAK) International Airport ( United Arab Emirates) has chosen SkyRing , the SkySoft-ATM/ CS Soft joint solution to replace the currentRadar Display, Flight Data Processing, Radar Data processing and recording systems .

The control tower modernization project will span over 5 months and will include the implementation of a full ATC and recording system.

RAK International Airport is strategically positioned in the United Arab Emirates , located just 40 minutes away from Dubai it will serve among other international Airlines, the newly created RAK Airways whose target is to serve more than 350,000 passengers a year.

RAK international Airport will benefit from the latest technologies provided by SkySoft-ATM and CS Soft currently in operation at the Swiss and Czech ANSPs .

 His Excellency Engineer Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi , Chairman of Department of Civil Aviation and RAK international Airport Electronic Engineering & IT Manager, Mr Jacob Avis launch the tower modernization project with SkySoft-ATM and IAL (SERCO) representatives.

IAL (SERCO) are the official representatives of SkySoft-ATM in the United Emirates.

SkyRing will be presented during the nextDubai Air Show (11-15 Nov 2007 )

• SkyRing : a complete ATC framework to meet small and medium size APP, ACC or Tower equipment requirements. This solution has been developed with CS Soft, an ATC software development company in the Czech Republic.
