The performance of the system is possible thanks to the integration of a multitude of complex rules (such as ATCO experience, letter of agreements with adjacent ACC's, ATC procedures, meteorological information, flight plan specificity, required exit flight levels by adjacent ACC's, aircraft capabilities, etc).

All these rules can be changed and / or fine-tuned by the customer.

Naturally, the system conflict resolution proposals are validated by the ATCO's and are accepted in more than 95% of the cases according to field experience.

This powerful knowledge-based system is an efficient real-time planning tool for traffic flow management over coordination points.

The system received its Clearance for Operation in April 2001.
