- The flexibility of use is total as the conflict parameters and the automatic resolution proposals have been pre-defined by the controllers themselves during the early stages of the development process
- Such joined workshops between ACC ATCO's and our experts, with the objective to fully integrate the given “local ATC rules” into our solution, is the best guarantee for a system perfectly adapted to the local requirements
- Even after its operational clearance the system is regularly updated and fine-tuned to assure that it matches the requirements of a non-static airspace
- Thanks to the efficient and collaborative work methodology, this new ATM solution was developed in only 11 months, something which is rather exceptional in the ATM market
ATCO-SkySoft-ATM team cooperation : valuable synergies
- Fast adaptation of the new SkySoft-ATM solution to match the local requirements
- Easy, natural and early acceptance of the solution by the ATCO's as it became their own project
- Limited training cost for Skyguide, even in the introduction phase: less than one day of training par ATCO has been required
Staff optimization
- The 4 regulator positions (corresponding to 13 to 14 ATCO's) have been saved, allowing the ATCO's to work on value-added functions which has lead to airspace capacity increases without additional hiring and training. The ANSP Return on Investment (ROI) has been extremely rapid
Conclusion
In continuous operational use since nearly 4 years, our software solution has largely proven its stability, reliability and outstanding user-friendliness.
As a result of the excellent acceptance by the ATCO's a similar tool has started to be implemented in Zurich ACC. |
